Even though I am normally very hawkish, I am more than a little concerned by the VIOLENT opposition to war in Iraq. I am beginning to move from "ambivalent" to "prefer to avoid war."
Given the difficulty we have convincing our "allies" that this is the right course, AND the DOMESTIC opposition to war, you have to wonder whether this is the RIGHT course. Our leaders keep mentioning our right to protect our nation, which I support, but is this the BEST way to protect it?

I'm beginning to think it is NOT.
